I think of your dad every time I hear that song and sometimes am just compelled to play it. And, when someone starts to tell me about wine, I know that I will always remember that, "life is too short not to drink the good wine." Miss you Bill.

:) Thinking of you both. Also, for what it's worth, your Forrester is still very red but even more eco-friendly than the T-bird. There is something to be said for that. Zippy thing, too. Have an extra pancake for me. And then, with your mouth full of a really big, delicious bite, let everyone else at the table know, through the insulation, "Mmmm. That's really good pancake."

I have to agree with Aaron. You're very expressive. I know you've come out on the other side of the Christmas stocking box.
Remember what Christopher Robin said to Pooh:
"Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe,
strong than you seem, and smarter than you think."

Work doesn't know yet, but they should ban your blog on company computers. Not because of its subversive content, but because of its graceful, touching, and often tear-inducing content which is beautiful, valuable, and inspiring, and therefore not useful to the end of keeping the drones in robot mode. How could even the best-trained robot manage to suppress some slippery silicone tears after reading this? Keep on telling your story, waking the robots, and touching souls, Mom. That is the other kind of toucher you are. I look forward to eating pasta and popcorn with you, and standing close by on the other side of the Christmas stocking box.
